Booking & Cancellation Policy
1. Appointment Confirmation & Invoicing
Appointments are reserved upon booking; no pre-payment is required.
You will receive an emailed invoice within 24 hours after your session.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Accepted method: bank transfer.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- More than 48 hours’ notice: You may cancel or reschedule at no cost.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: A fee equal to 50% of the session cost will apply.
To cancel or reschedule, please email or call us—messages and emails are timestamped to establish notice. Changes prior to 48 hrs can also be made via danidedietitian.com > Bookings > Login.
3. Compassionate Circumstances
At our discretion, fees may be waived in cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other unforeseen emergencies. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We may request documentation to support your request.
4. No-Shows & Late Arrivals
- No-Show: Failure to attend without notice incurs 100% of the session fee.
- Late Arrival: We will deliver your remaining session time, but the appointment will still end at the scheduled time and be charged in full.
5. Late or Failed Payments
Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance. Unpaid invoices older than 30 days may result in suspension of future bookings until settled.
6. Telehealth (Video) Sessions
You will receive a secure video link upon confirmation. Please join at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time to test audio/video. Technical difficulties initiated by the client count as “late arrival” or “no-show” if we cannot connect within 15 minutes.
7. Confidentiality & Privacy
All information you share is strictly confidential and managed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Any notes or reports remain our intellectual property but are released to you upon request.
8. Professional Disclaimer
Services provided are nutrition guidance only and not a substitute for medical care. Please consult your physician before beginning any new dietary plan.
9. Amendments & Governing Law
We reserve the right to amend this policy; any changes will be posted on our booking page and notified via email to existing clients. This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
